My name is Andrew Fernandez.
As a Bay Area native, I grew up in the small town of Castro Valley, a central location in the bay that acted as hub for me to connect with all the surrounding cities and rich cultures that accompanied these areas. Hayward, Oakland, Alameda, and San Francisco are just a handful of locations in which supported my growth, both as an individual and as a professional.
I earned a double degree in both graphic design and multimedia from California State University, East Bay, where I was given the opportunity to explore many different paths in the art world. Accompanying this education was my love for the sport of baseball, which has also had an impactful and lasting mark on my style and work ethic. With photography as my favorite medium, I've learned to integrate the use of photo alongside other mediums such as video and design to help fuel my passion for the digital media art world that we all take a part in today.
The places we go, the people we meet, and the experiences in between, is what makes everyone who they are. Our own origins are the best stories we have.
